FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT:

  1. Gather, collect and analyze the present economic, social, physical, administrative, financial and other statistical data necessary for the formulation and updating the Five-Year Development Program/Plan.
  2. Prepare and/or submit the comprehensive program for consideration of the Local Development Council (LDC) and for approval by the Mayor and Sangguniang Bayan.
  3. Follow-up the program and activities implementation according to establish schedule, targets or deadline and recommend remedial measure whenever.
  4. Prepare in coordination with the Budget Officer the Annual Operating and Capital Budget of the Municipality to ensure adequate support to the Municipal Development Action Program and the national use of the municipality’s fund.
  5. Prepare informal matters regarding the municipal development programs for dissemination to the public and other government agencies.
  6. Prepare technical plans, progress estimate design and job schedule based on priorities.
  7. Coordinate and follow-up progress of activities, accomplishment of different offices to be submitted to the Local Chief Executive (LCE), provincial and national government.

OBJECTIVES:

  1. To formulate plans, programs and activities that caters to the priority needs of the people.
  2. To develop plans and programs feasible to the community.
  3. To determine the feasibility of the programs and projects to obtain optimum results/benefits.
  4. To determine priority programs, projects and activities of the Municipality with corresponding financing institutions/source.
  5. To recommend/justify priority programs and projects in the Municipal Action Plan and National Agencies for the inclusion in their development programs for delivery of basic services to the community.
